The EU Health Policy Platform (HPP) will be presented today in Brussels to a large group of health stakeholders from the 52 EU-level umbrella organisations that were members of the Health Policy Forum that preceded the HPP.
Participants will receive a sneak preview of the HPP’s potential and features prior to the official launch at the conference “towards better prevention and management of chronic diseases” on 21 April in Brussels, as well as practical information for joining the Platform on the spot, should they wish to do so.
In addition to an explanation of the innovative new format and working methods of the HPP, the agenda will include presentations by stakeholders on topics proposed for the Platform’s first thematic networks. These include health inequalities, patient safety, health workforce development and mental health.
