Successful applicants are expected to be well-established scientists with more than 10 years of professional experience and multi-disciplined accomplishments. The deadline for applications is 15 November 2011.
Scientists can also apply to be a member of the Commission's database of experts, who contribute to the work of the Scientific Committees on an ad hoc basis on specific issues. In this case, there is no minimum professional experience required and no deadline for applications.
