Mylan announced Tuesday that it launched a generic version of the tablet form of Pfizer's antifungal Vfend (voriconazole) in the US under a previously reported settlement and licence agreement between the companies.
The drugmaker said it has 180 days of marketing exclusivity for the product, which generated US sales of around $186 million last year. The deal reached with Pfizer in 2009 excluded liquid and intravenous versions of Vfend.
