First implantation of bilateral dual optic accommodating lens

NHS consultant ophthalmic surgeon Dr Bobby Qureshi has announced that he is among the frist surgeon in the UK to have been trained to use Visiongen´s Synchrony lens and that he perfomed the first bilateral Synchrony dual optic IOL lens implant in the UK.
"This is a major breakthrough in ophthalmic technology. I feel so fortunate to be pioneering in the UK", explained Dr Qureshi. "We have the potential here to change patients´vision to how it was before their cataract of presbyopia".
