FDA market clearance for contact-lens solution

Abbott has received US FDA market clearance for its disinfecting solution for silicone hydrogel and conventional soft contact lenses, RevitaLensOcultec. The company reports that the solution delivers high-quality disinfection and comfort for the user with the convenience of a single bottle. It has beem developed with the help of silicone hydrogel, microbiology and chemistry experts and with input from more than 600 eye care professionals.
